Satin Black would be good

Done to the colour of the car is very hard to pull off as it can very easily look tacky - bit like MAXPOWER style lol

Agree with any other colour but black will look tacky however.

That's why I think Satin Black will "tie-in" well on any colour as the mirror base-plate goes with the rubber window trim

You'll HAVE TO keep it clean though
