I've always regarded AOL & freeserve or whatever there called these days as the worst ISP's so it's something you'll have to get use to.
lol BT was next on my list to! Tiscali is next....
Well while i was in london was using ukonline, they where ok, but sometimes wouldn't connect, but think it was my old router as it was s**te, but at the moe i'm with www.namesco.co.uk, but they only have a 5gb limit they have been spot on in the last 30 days i've been with them, depends if you need unlimited downloads or not. Also names is only 30 day contract.
AOL's actual connections are perfect low pings in games decent speeds. Its just the software that gives AOL a bad name. And the software doesnt need to be used so the service is actually fairly good.quote]
Opposite of what most ppl think... :S

Have you used it to know from experiance or just following what you have heard. The only downside to AOL's system is need to set an MTU size yourself in router config as 1500 wont work properly. Other than that the software is the only weak link.
I'm on wanadoo, and been downloading at 300KBs from 10 In the morin, Still at 300kbs now (Steady connection )
