Andy will be making them he is having his bloke do mine as he is off on holiday
any decent suspension place will be able to service them

it depends on what type of coilovers you go for for the set that i have gone for it is £1324 +vat and i have gone for the solid top mounts that i have gone for then you need to add £172 including vat

i remember there was a thread like this a little while ago.
why you would want to spend £1500+ for a set of coilovers on a road car, i don't know! FFS your not racing it, even for trackdays thats a bit excessive. Its not like you are looking for a 1/10th of a second to get it on pole position.
I bet those who do get the adjustable coilovers, haven't got the foggiest of how to set them up for the rebound and bump.
just get a set of springs which will lower the car and make it more stable and put the rest of the money towards a better car!
anyway thats my moan for this thread.

well the internals are from one of the motor racing world's best known suspension companies so i would think that you can get them

you know me and neal do know how to ajust them as you sore at donington neal and me was mighty fast
and when you are playing with the types of cars that we are then you are looking for every 1/10 th you can get

your not exactly doing a qualifying session and then a race. if you want to do stuff like this then i suggest you buy a race car and go racing, then those tenths will come in handy.
i know how to adjust them too, just turn the bloody rebound or bump valve! what it does though on the other hand, for better or worse, do you really think you can say to yourself that the car was much better through any particular corner. did it oversteer more or did it understeer more? was I faster or was i slower? THE ANSWER IS NO.
Reason: firstly your not consistent through each corner and every lap on a track day. secondly you do not have a lap timer/data logger (like i do) so you will never know!

no i don't have a data logger but then i don't want to know how well i was doing each time i go out my data logger is how fast Steve and Phil catch me in there BM and also how fast i am compered with other cars .
the way i will set up the car at each track will be by trial and error and when i have found a nice setting for me and the car at a track then i will make a note and remember it for next time .

you are quite right fella. The only thing I'd like to know is if he did actually call GDI or got an Asian pal to call in using a dodgy fake accent, as I'm curious to know if he had the balls to do it... I'm leaning towards he asked someone else at the moment, as I dont think he has it in him.
