Anyone fix their blowers

Going to get the parts kit today (hopefully), just wondered if anyone fixed theirs and could confirm that it actually was the TN1666 kit that did the business...

Ive managed to get hold of an auto electrician for nowt tomorrow, so if I get the notes by then he might be able to fix it for me... Which means Im less likely to get electrocuted!
