Anyone for a short wheelbase S2000

I went to check my trailer tonight up at my lock up and was gobsmacked when I seen this.

I had to get out and take a few pictures and I thought I would share.

Whats amazing is that with so much damage the interior hasn't been disturbed much if at all. Honda build a good car. The roof still looked like it would close too.

I never even looked mate. With the type of people up my lock up I would doubt it, it will be in a mini or rally car or something by now.

Thats had a fair whack eh! Strip it and sell the parts before anyone comes back ;p

I would say, I crashed my first car a Honda civic head on into a lamppost and it stood up really well, the lamppost came halfway up the bonnet yet I was fine. They are strong motors.

Its been pretty stripped and will be someone's waiting to be scrapped or for a transplant.

I may be Scottish but I'm not a total pikey lol.

It has some nice shiny suspension bits and bobs too. It would have been a nice car with a hard top and I'm not an s2000 fan. Matt black FTW.

Very similar to the old Leon joke we used to say at the Ring years back. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, boost, 400hp, wheelspin, accident.

I keep reading up on S2000's. I really fancy one to replace the Clio.

They don't do much for me even though the engine and box are stupendous. The mpg, insurance, rust and age related issues ruin it for me.

As you have already mentioned, its very impressive the way the non essential areas have crumpled sacrificially to allow the passenger cell to remain in tact.

Hell of an impact no doubt, and yet the occupants will have been unlucky to have got anything more than a bit of whiplash or bruising.

What's that thing in the 4th photo near the golf....... French van thingy?

I'm not sure maybe a milk float? I'll look today.

We have all sorts of weird things up there, to name a few we have a rally stage that we can use, rally school, rover p100's, Metro 6r4, z-cars, original r5 turbos, countless group n evo's, group a and b cossie's and novas, quatro, Suzuki swifts, rage buggies, 5 or so 205 French rallye's, several historic and modern mk2's, mk1 escorts, Opel manta's, hillman imps, talbot sunbeams, micra and KA auto test and grass track cars, some of the best VW show cars going, some of the best rally drivers in Scotland and last years Scottish rally championship runner up work out of there. Its some place and a dumping ground for all sorts of exotica and water damaged, crash damaged repairable rally cars, trucks and so on.
