Anyone got 17s on a 1.2?

Hi selling the old 17 wheels that were on the car to a friend who has a 1.2. Before i do this want to make sure that they fit okay.

Well do they!? Want to make sure he doesnt have rubbing etc

I have spacers to provide that are probs just under a cm.
No comments on whether people dont like 17s pls.

I had 17's on my 1.2 with 205/40/17 tyres on. They scrubbed very slightly on the front but that was due to a silly offset. Nothing a small spacer didn't sort.

I have 17s with 205/45/r17s on mine atm and its lowerd 60mm and doesnt rub at all not even with a car full.

He will be happy as im sure they will be an improvement over his 13 steelies. Would the standard bolts be right size?
