Anyone got a Canon Ixus 70 Digital Camera ?

I have just bought a Canon Ixus 70 Digital camera a few weeks ago.

I have one problem , my battery aint lasting to long

I get about 100 shots and its dead, is this about right ?

And does it do any harm if i put the battery pack in the charger and forget about it ? :S

Will it ruin or affect the battery ?

As i've done it a few times :S

My parents have the ixus 70, i have the ixus 750.

Both cameras last for about 200 photo's, turning the camera off between shots. We both just plug the battery in and leave it overnight to charge, the charger will stop charging when the battery is at full capacity.

Just buy a spare battery, ebay is your best friend.

We have an the 70 and the battery has lasted a good 300 shots on one charge.
