Anyone had any after market security fitted to a 197

As what the post title says, as i'm having trouble finding a place that can do it, something to do with the wiring loom on them. I know i have a cat1 system already, but would just like a bit more.

Been trying for a blackjax, but so far no good, just asking the question generally, cheers

you need a can bus compatible alarm,toad or clifford do either

cliffords i'm looking at, something to do with the loom only has 2 wires now where as there used to be 20 and they need to get hold of a wiring diagram from renault

Not worth doing imo, if they want it they'll have it one way or another.

It doesn't work though really and the standard system is more than good enough, theres a reason 99% of theives just break into the house for the keys/keycard.

i do know that, trust me, i was lookin at the blackjax as just in case this happened they would only get down the road with it. i wasn't goin to display stickers to say i have it either
