anyone had Nankangs?

  Audi Q7, Avalanche
just wondered what people thought of the Nankang NS2's, i loved them on my fiesta 2.1 ZVH beast and they were really grippy with 190bhp+, anyone had them on here?

My B/F got them on his Astra GSI. his verdict. Excellent Value Budget tyres. but they dont like wet weather too well mytyres got him em for 43 quid each too :)

ive had them on my bmw's too and i really do like them, especially when you look at the price too. im asking as my 172 cup is a little bit more specialised and so i dont want to scrimp on tyres, im very tempted with a new set of uniroyal rainsports especially over winter? suggestions?

On the left theres a poll regarding tyres: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=102955

I hard Nankangs can suffer from shredding/bulging when they overheat. And personally on a car minus ABS/ESP i would prefer the best rubber i can afford, given they are the ONLY things keeping me on the road. But depends how you drive, what sort of usage your car gets (Mway/A/B road).

well the car will be used for fun weekend driving and days out not everyday (in theory) so a good set of rubber would be good so i can have a little fun. ive had uniroyal rainsports before and they were an awesome tire in damp wet conditions and really good in the dry too and for the price (£50) thats a bargain really for all 4. what do you think? i know everyone on here says conti's, F1's, or PEX2, but i personally dont rate the Conti's, ive had F1's before and they were ok but nothing too much better than the rainsports if at all, and im just wary of the price of PEX2's as i cant see the inflated price per tyre being that much difference in performance when compared to rainsports etc..
