Anyone in Leeds/Bradford fancy breaking a 172 with me?

Nothing definite yet - but my car is up for sale at the moment but I've been toying with the idea of breaking it.

Its a genuinely good car but the 10 previous owners is going to put a few people off.

So! I know f**k all about cars and I'm thinking this would be a great opportunity for me to learn a lot and also to make a bit of money.

Id need somewhere to put the car and we can split whatever we make.

I have no idea how viable this is so please tell me if you think it's a daft idea.

Better off selling as a whole if you don't have the space to break it. Trust me, I've broken plenty.

have you done it b4? ie if some1 wonted the engine or box drive shafts etc.. would you be able to take them off? i have some where you it could be done just dont wont to do all the work myself hahaha

lol your going to get far ! try a new born baby keeping you up all night !! and take it you wouldnt be able to take engine etc..off the car..so you wont some one to do it all for you

Im keen to learn about the car and think this would be a good opportunity.

Like I say, if its financially unviable then I won't be doing it. Just wanted to get an idea as its something I don't have a clue about.

to pay some one to brake it you would end up with next to nothing in you pocket...if i was you i would either sell it or bite the bullet and strip it your self...if you ship and parts that the fluid it will need to be drained..

Stripping a Ph2 will make you £2k over 6 months. So halving that is f**k all.

Just sell it for £1500-1700 and be done.
