anyone in norwich able to fit my lowering springs for some cash??

shouldnt cost much in a garage only took me 45mins to fully lower my car all you need is some spring clamps and a few sockets and a allen key

Get Cit-Ren to do it mate as they did mine for £50 and done an excellent job ;)

Unless of course you class £50 as "silly money"??

Wrong.

been to nearly every garage and want at least 80 pounds to fit them no tracking or anything ;(

Either have a crack yourself, or find someone local who'll do it on the driveway, mate.

Tracking doesn't need doing afterwards.

thanks budgie but i wont trust myself doing it, plus cant seem to fine a local to do it on my driveway. its rubbish around here, just expensive garages

Tracking does need doing, After I changed mine the car 'white lined' like fcuk, all osrted once it was tracked to the new setup.

you may have to organise a trip to someones house or garage mate, a whole day job including travelling or just pay the £80 and it be the end of it, plus if theres any issues you can go back to the garage if their local.

some local garage (non specialist) told me £140 just to fit sportlines lmfao

Weird. I've changed several sets on my own, and other cars and never had any issues.

yeh skeggy lol, think i might have to pay garage as theres no specialist around here. or no one that knows that has a clio haha, thought you were meant to get them tracked after a month so you can let them embed in?

thats what ive read too mate but there seems to be 50/50 split on CS about it lol

I had mine tracked straight away, had no issues since.

I would always recommend getting the tracking done after changing suspension components. Cars might not have the same 'white-lining' affect that I got, but you could end up scrubbing tyres off uber quick.

Ball joints maybe, as there's ever so slight adjustment, but suspension is fixed.

I wouldn't get the tracking done as a matter of course.

you should technically let everything bed in first as things will move in the first month or so
