Anyone know where I can get my Clio 182 wired for a sub with standard head unit?

Hi guys,

I want to keep the head unit in my car standard as it is less appealing to theives and will save me hassel if I try to sell it in the future.

Does anyone know where I can get my Clio 182 wired to use an active sub whilst keeping the standard head unit and all 4 speakers working?

I've been told that it is possible, and needs an active sub that will accept high input levels from the rear speakers.

I've spoken to a few people at Halfords, some of them seem to say it's possible while others say it's not - so I don't really trust taking it there.

FYI, the sub I was planning on getting is the FLI trap 10'' Active (http://www.fliaudio.co.uk/index.asp...-frequency.html&sidemore=s-flitrapactive.html)

(Just in case you're wondering I have replaced the standard speakers with 3-way Fli-trap integrator ones all round but left the tweeters alone.)

I did it by using an amp with high level input and using the rear speaker as the input to the amp.

Worked very well.
