anyone near scunthorpe/Grimsby area with a 182?

I'm looking for someone with a 182 near to where i live, who would be prepared to take me for a quick run in their car. Just a few minutes, so i can compare it to mine. I'm not convinced it's running correctly but a mate seems to think it won't be any quicker than it is.

I'd just like to know once and for all if something daft is out like timing etc.

Hello. Yeah where are u based? I was unsure on mine n the noises it makes so would be good to confirm etc. It sounded like another 182 so eased my mind but I still don't think it sounds right. I've just put it down to been French lol

Me too lol. Was gutted when I first got the car when I found out that it only puts out about 160bhp on a good engine, but I think mines shite so will b about 140 lol

I was just wondering if there was something up with this 182 sport. To me it feels like it's holding back. Mind you my last car was a 350bhp evo VI but even so, I have a vectra 1.9 diesel which wipes the floor with the Clio.
I would just like to see how someone elses car compares to mine, pick-up(acceleration) general noise etc.

I'll have a drive over to Scunny it's only about 15 minutes away.

im in immingham if your closer to grimsby noise wise ive got air filter and a whoosing noise on acceleration dont know what it is lol id take you out if needed
