Free brake check somewhere? Just be aware somewhere like quick fit will always tell you that your brakes are f**ked.

ive just spoke to renault and they said its prob a wire under the seat??? anyone had this before?

under seat should be linked to airbag light coming on I would have thought.... different issue.

I had a similar problem which was sorted by replacing the brake switch (by the pedal)

Put your hand under the drivers and passenger seat move the wires around a bit and itll probably go off!

stupid question but the most common fault is your brake fluid level is low - just check it before you take it to Renault

under the sheet is normally your seat belt tensioner wire which is hooked up to the airbag sensor dont mess with it though cos the lil thing likes to explode

National do free brake and tyre checks, thats what I would do.

cheers for the advice lads! im going to have a look under seat ans look at sensors on brakes then if not obvious, try a free brake check see whats the damage!! lol

pm received mate cheers. got lots of ideas to be looking at, ive tried under the seat though n it seems fine so fluid and pads to do myself and look at sensors, after that its a garage!
