If so could you find out why, here in Loughborough we are about to loose one of the best customer focused teams around. I mean owners travel from other counties just to get seen!!!!!!

After many visits to Leics & Notts renault garages, to listen to the same old excuses by uninterested muppets. Who would think nothing of wasting my time & others:banghead:

When loughborough opened up, things started to look up, people who actually are well informed of renaults, knew how to fix them & on time, good communications with the customers, people who were renault enthusiasts:clap:

So why is it that us the public always suffer:mad:

If we don't join up & bombard Renault Customer Services we may lose the Loughborough team:cry:

Been told Michele is off with stress cause of internal politics & whats worse she's handed in her NOTICE, did you know she's a fully trained tech NVQ3 etc etc, no wonder she knows what shes talking about:hail:

It took me ages to find a good, knowledgeable safe place to take my car to.

Nothing is too much trouble, all warranty work is sorted no problems, communication is first class:hail:

Lets 'all' bombard renault customer services with support for Michele & her mechanics, Christ it's bad enough trying to find a 'good' renault garage let alone let a 'good' one slip away:argue:

It's 'full' Renault, just they can't sell cars.

Loughborough used to have a Renault garage ages ago, Perrys.

Its true Renault dont own the garages but Renault Customer Services do carry some weight at the dealerships. After all, Renault are very interested in customer relations as this is what earns them (Renault) a reputation. It would be a shame to lose one of the few decent garages they have.

Something needs to be done.

If anyone is bored & wants to let off some steam on our behalf feel free.
At least you may be doing some good & actually save a 'decent' renault garage & we all know they are as hard to find as 'Rocking Horse s**t'

Copied from what I posted on RenaultSport.co.uk..

I'll be calling RCS 2mrw, need to talk to them about the exhuast again anyway.

I can't believe this! I'm just one of many that would rather travel 18 miles to Loughborough than the easy 5 miles to my local dealer. Also wait a week to be seen, instead of a day or so.

If it wasn't for Michelle and the guys I would have sold my 182 by now. I've had no end of problems with it over the last few months, in and out every couple of weeks, but the guys have stuck at it and are trying to solve the problem.

Always friendly and polite, even if they are thinking 'oh god it’s him again..' lol

Renault Customer Service - DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!!!

Just posted this in the wrong thread:rolleyes:

Just so I get this right.

Michelle is unhappy so may be walking and the other Guys who work there may do the same?

So what potentially happens?

Would Renault replace everyone?

Would the Renault part of Archie Moss disappear leaving me (and others no doubt) at the hands of the muppets in Nottingham:eek::(

I really hope they get it sorted, I'll sell the car before going back to Sunwin Notts!

I'd have to consider that Rentech place that always comes higly praised around here.

How far is Portsmouth (or wherever it is) from Nottingham:rolleyes:

Your missing the point, it's the fact she is highly qualifed that when you go there with your warranty work, she can put forward the best solution so as you get your car fixed. :D

In stead of the normal 'the all do that sir' bullshit

If they leave, you will get a vauxhall muppet instead, until they can be replaced...........thats the whole point of this thread........'If it aint broke why fix it':slap:

It's a bit more than unhappy but lets leave at that for now :quiet:

Same thing happened to Linningtons Renault in Portsmouth, closed down.
If anyone from the dealer you mention has the guts to do what I have done they will do well.

Its happened before now and it will happen again the garage will be short staffed for a time with no techie support but they will stay open.

Dear Steve.

Thank you for your E-mail regarding the Archie Moss dealership in Loughborough.

I can certainly understand your frustrations and will ensure that your comments are passed to the relevant department. :banghead:

As all of our Renault dealerships are franchised we do not have any control over a dealerships decision should they wish to terminate their franchise agreement with us.

I have taken the opportunity to speak to Archie Moss in Loughborough this morning and they have advised me that their closure :S :headno: has not been confirmed. I am sure they will take action to keep all their loyal customers updated with any further changes.

If there is anything further that we can help you with, then please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department on 0800 072 33 72.

Thank you again for getting in touch. :slap:

Not looking good:mad:

Don't think she's coming back:eek:

17th is crunch time.

Hi Guys. I am one of the technicians at Archie Moss Renault.

Unfortunately Michelle has now left the company. This is a sad loss as I am sure all of you who came to Archie Moss will agree. :dapprove:

As a technician, she made my life so much easier due to the fact that not only is she a highly qualifed service receptionist, but also a fully trained (NVQ Level 3 AND a diploma in Motor Vehicle Engineering) technician. :hail:

Quite clearly, she is more than capable of her job!

We were able to diagnose a particular fault, get our heads together, and then put forward to the customer (You lot ;) ) what we thought would be the best possible solution.

All three of us really enjoyed working at Archie Moss. We had a good, productive team and we were primarily concerned with good customer service as all three of us know this is what Renault have been lacking in recent times. We NEVER thought "Oh no! Not you again!" (Not even you Mr Shears!!! lol ;) Steve Smoothy - you're a diamond, mate!! ). We also never said: "They're all like that mate!" like some of the garages you've come across.

All three of us were passionate about trying to achieve the best possible service and quality.

And I believe we succeeded. Looking through this site and RenaultSport site, there have been some very kind words from members and that makes us feel as though our hard work paid off.:approve: :)

However it seems all good things must come to an end.:dapprove: For reasons I cannot go into :quiet: , the "Team" has been broken up. In my opinion Michelle has been treated unfairly and with a total lack of respect. The particular incident in question had nothing to do with her - she wasn't even aware of the situation. But someone in management made an "executive" decision that turned around and bit them on the ar$e. Someone then had to take the blame and unfortunately that someone was Michelle. Quite rightly she was not prepared to take a kicking for something that was not her fault, so tried to take matters further. Waste of time:banghead: . She felt the only way she could make herself heard was to hand in her notice.

I am disgusted by the way this has all been dealt with. And it is out of support and respect for my Friend that on 20/11/06, I also handed my notice in.:S  :(

I shall be sorry to leave the company but principles are principles.

I would like to say on behalf of myself and Michelle a BIG THANKYOU to all of you who have shown us your kind words and support over this matter.:approve: It means a lot when you try your best and it is appreciated the way you people have done. :approve: People are usually very quick to criticise and very slow to show praise.

Unfortunatly I don't think either of us will be going back into the Renault Network as there dosen't seem to be any openings anywhere at present. And also from what I have read , as a technician, I don't want to be tarred with the same brush as some local dealers you have mentioned.;)

Thanx guys!!!

GUTTED MATE!

I'd guessed that Michelle had left with the new guy on the desk. Can't believe your going as well.. Can't believe Archie Moss have let this happen. :S

Paul

Look at Mike@Rentech. His dealership closed and he opened his own garage in Portsmouth. Its small, but is well known and you only need to check the threads in the dealer section to see how many people use him.

I travel from Essex to Portsmouth just to go there rather than a dealer.

Ive even thought about having my service a bit early when i was in southampton once lol.... i live in edinburgh and renault dealers here live on mars

Sorry to hear about your troubles Paul.

Sorry that I won't be able to hand my keys over to Michelle again either:(

Without wishing to sound insensitive given the subject matter....what happens next for Archie Moss Renault?

Next for Archie Moss? I'm not sure mate. I have heard talk of trying to get technicians from a certain dealer in Nottingham:eek:  but this maybe just rumours. We shall have to wait and see.

just seen this thread...... I know how dealerships are run and about the franchises that are bought from Reno....but wtf are Renault doing????? Their network is full of uninformed 'technicians', are they that blind to customer service that they don't realisise that the front end of the company i.e. the dealers are costing them sales???

The one shinning light i've heard of is this place in loughborough - G40 steve raved about them, no matter how many times i've said stay clear of dealers like the plague.

It really makes you think that other makes such as BMW, Porsche, even Toyota (who i've all had first hand experience of) can get is sooo right yet Renault continually get it wrong. The fact is I own a small Renault hatchback, not because of budget, but because of the car. I would never consider spending any more money with Reno that what i have spent. French exec cars don't get bought purely because dealing with the network is like getting teath pulled.

Little things like when your car goes in for a service - you end up with a bill for a couple of hundered quid. Not an issue but BMW clean your car while they have it. Renault service it and leave crap all over it. How is that a full service? Does the exterior of a car not warrant 10 mins of the lackie's time when your paying £50 an hour for a 20 yr old who doesn't know the difference between a 1.2 engine and a 3ltr V6?

The only value Renault have to me is that little rubber stamp!!! And once it's out of warrenty - Reno tech's oily rags aint going anywhere near it.

Reno please please please put some quality procedures in place when reviewing franchise agreements.. OR is that such a lack of demand that o have to go with whoever wants to sell & service your cars?

Your customers are crying out for you to solve it, look at what happend to Alfa!!!
