Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback regarding Dixons Renault Dealer on Wakefield road, as i am thinking of booking my 182 in there.
They do a very good price match but.........err, I wouldn't.
I had my 36k service on my 1.6 done there and they lost my locking nut key, didn't fasten the air filter pipe on and didn't gap one of the spark plugs which caused a misfire.
Been to Harrats before and i must admit they have done me good, however it has been in to them about three times for a fault sorting out and unfortunatly they can't seem to find it.
What happens is that in the morning the car just seems to cut out at about 3k rpm and then kangaroos 2 or three times after till its fully warmed up then it runs perfect. I have read other posts of people having the same problem on the warming up period.
Unfortunatly when Harrats have had it the fault has never happend for them! they updated the injection software but this has had no effect, so i was thinking of trying another dealer in the hope they had further knowledge of the prob.
Sounds like i would be better staying with them as i only live 1mile away
a friend of mine works for renault in rotherham and also owns a renault (so he takes care of them) he's done numerous jobs on my valver and all are good quality ect
