Anyone play Live for Speed online??

anybody play? im on the demo at the mo which you can download, online simulator game, handling is very realistic, can control camber, how much petrol, ride height/stiffness etc...

graphics arent mint, but good for a downloadable game!

yeah. you should play some of the cars on license havnt played for aggeess, but funily ennough i redownloaded it today cos i reformatted and thought id brush the dust off my momo wheel and fire up live for speed lol

before the game was finised there was alot of LFS playing going on, i used to host a CS server.

BUt i dont play it anymore, maybe i should......cant be arsed paying for it though....not with GTR and GTL out.

yeah is a mint game, get the demo, you can still play the game online, everyone can have the slow, easy to use XF GT

lfs is mint, so is rfactor, you should try that out, can play the demo online on rfactor as well.

I will set up a server later tonight if ya interested and have a bash at it :0)

I've got the S2 licence and used to play with a pad. Rock hard game, tried a momo wheel and pedals and found that even worse.

Dunno what it was but in all the online races there were kind of two leagues of drivers. You had the casual racers and I could kind of be the fastest out of that group but then there was a massive gap in laptime up to the hardcore racers and no matter what I did I couldn't get near their times. I have no idea what they were doing different to me, you could even get their setups off the web but despite endless practise and pushing to the limit I'd always be two secs a lap down on them.

^^ yeah thats pretty much same as me. Altho ive got better recently due to the new update they just released a few weeks ago. Dunno if you have it or not but its much better. And the new bf1 is silly fast ;p Not to impressed with it though really, seems too easy to drive.

Me and my m8 go on this most nights for a laugh. It is a very good game when you get into it. I use a PS2 pad and it plays very well...and the latest version has a proper F1 car on and mucho improved handling all round. Maybe start an LFS User name post?

Im gonna dwnload the latest release as ive heard it better than the 1 i got...How do you guys setup your graphics do you do it through the games menus or using Nvidia's/Ati's control panel as thats the thing i dont lke about it ...plus i can never seem to get me DFP wheel to work with this game...Grrrr

i put AA + AF on full using nVidia control pannel then go in game > options > put everythin on high... In fact i think i just use default settings in game. This game aint really that good to look at really, but good physics :0)

cant use the crack online, and at this moment in time the AI are s**t to put it lightly :0) but spose it lets you see what the full game is like

Ive got GTR, i find it well hard to play using manual gears however on auto im ok

Played the demo of GTL and it was really good but havent got around to buying it yet.

Been playing rFactor yesterday, downloaded loads of stuff for it. Kinda annoying there isnt many decent cars out and the graphics are really dependant on if the track or car has been modeled well or not. Overall its good tho, my controller makes it dead twichy though which is annoying however taking Lupo GTi's off road is proper mint watching them all fall over. haha

GTR is awesome for the GT experience however GTR2 comes out soon

GT Legends is very good, however not as easy to pick up at GTR

If you can be bothered adding your name to the list, then it would make the hosts life alot easier instead of waiting for people to check this thread.
