Anyone Repaired A Splitter?

If so, wat did you use? Hit a high curb tonight, smashed into 3 pieces, two big bits and abit in the middle. It all goes together alright, was thinking something like no more nails?

I got aluminium mesh and some bumper repair stuff from halfords. Was perfect and very strong once repaired.

yup, loads.

can repair them so many different ways.

id probably scuff up the back of the splitter then link the broken pieces together with meshtape, then either use bonding addhesive or fibreglass.

then sand down the front so the crack is indented and fibreglass the front of it, sand that back so its level, then skim of filler/prime/paint

I went to Halfords, and they dont do the bumper repair one anymore, so i ended up with some hardener, resin and glass fibre tissue. Worth a try, it only cost £7
