Anyone run a steering wheel spacer?

As I have quite long legs, and also have very low subframes, I feel like it is quite a reach to the steering wheel so am thinking about spacing it out to bring it closer.

Something like the below possibly (although it seems pricey for what it is)

I run a dished wheel and a spacer on a QR adaptor so it's much closer

Funnily enough I was going to ask the very same thing today but like you could only find expensive options.

I'm also thinking of lowering my steering column some more with longer bolts and a sleeve, but still want to ensure the sleeve is strong enough.

I bought a spacer from ebay. Essentially a billet bit of alu for £10 which works well.

What type of boss is that? Or is that part of the qr?

It's a Sadev quick release boss made for the Cup Racer cars of the era, they are like rocking horse s**t.
