Anyone run with 205 width tyres?

  Porsche, Caterham, Golf
Do any of you guys use 205 width tyres?

I'm looking at 205/45/16 on Speedlines, but will I get rubbing issues? On full lock etc? Do you get issues? Of any kind?

What tyres do you use?

Would 205/40/16 produce more clearance?

I was thinking of Yokohama parada spec 2 205/45/16

All comments & experiences welcome

Thanks

(Car is 172 FF)

You won't have any issues with 205/45/16s. 182s run that size as standard, and even though the offset of the wheel is different it won't be an issue with standard ride hight.

If your car is lowered by 40mm the rears will catch during hard cornering if using standard 172 wheels.

If your using turini's you'll be fine.
