Anyone used slotted strut holes and camber bolts?

So was going to slot my AST's top strut hole for more negative camber (cant do the bottom hole as there's not enough material to file down) and to fine tune the adjustment would need adjustable top mounts, thing is I've just bought PMS top mounts and don't want to fork out again for the grams adjustable's.

So would it be a big no, no to use my current camber bolts on the bottom strut hole?

I run eibach camber bolts on the slotted top strut hole on my bilsteins. Makes it a little bit of a pig to adjust but is doable.
