Im interested too. havent got shocks n springs yet, but when i do... where u based m8?

Its not difficult, use the make shift tool, pull the torsion bar out,m jack the rear wheel up to the required height, push the torsion bar back in.

As the shocks go its simply one bolt each and and they are off

1 Euro 52 Cents and a kick in the goolies! How does that sound?

I dont wanna pay for your services!!

How do i make the tool for extracting my Torsion Bar? Will a slide hammer do the job? Thats whats mentiond in the haynes manual anyway?

Sod slide hammer, I used a socket with about 5 big washers on the end, nut and bolt, screw bolt with socket, then washers, then nut on, tighten up nut which pushes on socket and pulls torsion bar out. Easy as owt.

Hardest part is gettin the dust caps off, mine looked like they were stuck on with superglue when I finally got the buggers off, after that it was all simple. Worst you can do is what I did, listen to a mate stood at side of me saying jack hubs up rate high so its dead low, so I did, drive home with it bouncing up and down like mad cos it was riding on bump stops. Needless to say, next day it was raised a little!
