Anyone with 200 cup, quick question..?

This is my first clio and I understand this may sound a bit dense lol.

Basically should the centre dash console show the temperature on the clio 200 cup?

I have looked through the manuals and it says yes, however all that is shown on the display is the time?

Is there something i have to activate????

lol its good to know I am not the only one wondering, I am starting to think the cup doesnt even have a temp reading etc?!

I'll be honest, I'm sure it doesn't because I cant see a temp sensor in the wing mirror like on the mk2's.

Maybe worth asking people with normal 200's see if theirs has it, and if its just the Cups that have been stripped of this?

What an odd thing to get rid of! Hardly weighs anything....
But yeah, my 200ff had temperature on the console.

Tbh I am slightly shocked by this as although the cup is the base 'sport' model it isnt so cheap to justify removing basic things like this and electric wingmirrors etc, I still love my cup anyway lol

I think its because the wing mirrors are not electric ones - they have the spazzy manual joystick adjustment instead. I'm guessing the thermometer was part of the electric setup.

My 200 Cup doesnt have exterior temp readout either, which is a shame because it is suprisingly useful and I do miss it.

Mine Grodini with cup chassis has ambient temp on the display.

IIRC in the brochure it states under the RS200 that it comes with electric mirrors and external temperatue sensor this isnt listed for the cup.

I looked every where when I first had my cup 200, yep, NO OUTSIDE TEMP GAUGE, looked in the doors and mirrors for plugs,Never looked behind the display to see if there was a input of some sort,so called renault tech,No luck there,So I eventually gave up.
best to sell it and buy regular 200 with Cup Chasis, weighs a bit more but should be the way to go. IMO

£12k+ for a Clio and they put manual mirrors on it? FFS!!!

yep as above no temp sensor as there is no wiring for it in the electric windows, same thing on mk2 clio extreme 4s
