When PM'ing the seller i specifically asked about the condition of the badges and if all clips were intact.
The seller said that the badges needed painting. I was happy with that as i was going to paint them anyway.
He was origionally asking for £25 posted so i (rightly or wrongly) presumed that they would at least be in a useable condition. I said the most i would pay is £12 posted, he said other people were interested and would be intouch. Half an hour or so later he got intouch saying he would accept £15 posted. As they needed painting i said the most i would pay remains £12 posted which would leave should leave him £10 after p&p which he agreed to.
I pm'd the seller after receiving the badges today to which he first replied with
Sorry Russ, completely forgot that they were broken...
However, u can still clip them onto the strips with glue, and just pull it off when u dont need them...
Sorry i forgot to mention this.
However, it did kind of reflect in the price... £12 was a bargain.
i then found out that he bought the badges from another person a few months previous (knowing full well the clips were broken). Once challenged he claims he paid £10 + P&P, although in the thread the last post was him offering £8 posted.
Regardless, i find it quite disapointing that a fellow CS'er would try and sell the badges on for a tidy profit hiding the fact that they were broken. However in fairness the seller has now offered a full refund once he has received the badges in the same coniditon that they left him, although i am a little skeptical as to whether he will try to pull a fast on there so have sent him some pictures via pm of the badges and asked him to confirm that he is happy with the condition.
