Apex spring knocking

Hi, Had my Apex springs kindly fitted by The Detailer the other weekend, but they are knocking together like bitches, I can only assume this is because they have sagged overtime.

Does anyone know if this is an MOT failure?

I'd advise against apex they're a bag of ass and will kill your shocks

I think they just look for incomplete springs and cracks, but dont know if knocking
will fail the mot though.

shouldn't fail on knocking they dont drive it just pop it onto rollers, I think the suspension check consists of pushing each corner of the car down to make sure the shocks aren't fudged or something like that

you mean if the rear coils are touching? on my old 1.4 dynamique i had g max suicide springs and all the coils touched eachother, got through an MOT no problem.
