Apexs springs from a mk2 on a mk3

Hello, recently I have put 35mm lowering springs on my mk2 1.2 and since then she has died so I am having to buy a new car because of engine issues. I have bought an mk3 1.2 extreme and want to know can I use my old springs or will I have to get a new set, thanks
