Piece of cake to use m8, you'll have no issue's, everything is logical. All the Apps are in the Applications folder and that's about it :)

Fushion or Parallels is great to run another OS along side Mac O/s or you can partition your HDD and run windows xp or vista natively and boot between the two.

Macs rule! i converted last year after having numerous probs with my old sony vaio on windows and i can honestly say i have not had any problems with my macbook pro. I got the hang of using a mac within a day its all logical!

Similar story hear.

Got a macbook about 7-8 months ago switching from windows. Found it pretty easy to use at first and was fully used to it after a week. Unlike windows you don't have to know all the advanced settings etc and tricks to make it run better, as they just work. Mine has seen no change in performance from day one and I've now filled the hard drive on it.

As said everything seems so much more logical.

Don't forget, if you really don't like the look and feel of the Mac OS, just fire up Windows XP in dual boot. You'll probably get to run a few decent games that way too. :)

To install apps just drag them into your apps folder, to uninstall most apps - just a case of dragging them to the trash.

Documents - into your documents folder
Pics - into.. you guessed it photos folder etc etc

Use safari or firefox to surf internet.

All settings are under your system preference pane (click apple icon top left).

Really easy and once you've tried one you won't go back! I love mine. Couple of friends have got them since me and said the same.

Only thing I'm struggling with at the moment is my new Office for Mac package as I can't do the things I did in Windows on it or at least it's not all in the same place!

I bought an MBP. I sold it a year later for 50% of what I paid. I bought a Dell laptop instead.

Mum uses an iMac, but it runs Vista only now.. no need to use OSX.

My mate has an iMac, running OSX and he loves it.

I guess it depends on the person. :)
