applying copper grease help.

Car  MK2 PH2 & E46 330
my breaks are ear cringingly squeaky. the pads still have a while to go.

therefore a lack of copper grease is the answer.

is it the kinda thing i can go out and buy from somewhere and apply it myself?

If so, where, and how.

Cheers

Halfrauds or any car spares place should do a tube. Take the wheel off and take the pad out of the callipers and apply liberally. Reverse process. Job done.

copper slip is to grease the back of the pad, not the friction surface.

You'll get it in a good DIY shop.

Anti squeel shims might be the answer if not correctly installed
