Are 172 cup and 172 lower ball joints the same???

know the cup has slightly wider front track so are all 172 lower balljoints the same length???

Yes they are the same, I replaced mine in July and there is only one part number for 172's. Only the offset of the cup turinis (38.5) give it a wider track

Isnt there 2 sizes for the pin/bolt or whatever it is? i just changed mine and they said there is a choice of 2 pin sizes. Could be wrong though but thought it was worth mentioning

Apologies if I am wrong, but the guy I spoke to in Renault said there was only one part for the 172. Maybe different on the 182 cup?
