Are my discs warped?

Hi,
done a search but nothing similar came up (and got board of reading)
i took my wheel off just now to have a little look, and when I spin the disc, it runs free then 'catches' then runs free and then 'catches' (if that makes sense) the pads have plenty of meat in them and discs 'appear' ok.
Does that mean my disc is warped? Gonna change them anyway soon but just wondered. Also if I drive at speed (legal of course) and brake, I get a slight wobble, which goes after braking. Is this connected?

Sounds like it would be, can you not spin it enough to see it?

Not that I noticed, but i could only get a couple of spins before it stops.

If you lift both wheels off the ground, take the wheels off and then stick the car in first and look at the disc as its rotating you should be able to tell.

Remove the wheel an fastern a dti gauge to the disc an check the run out, could also be hub run out but more then likely discs warped as thats more common

Have you checked the hub nut? Should be 285nm Does sounds more like warped discs though

I haven't no to be honest, but it does feel or seem like the discs? I'll change them and hope for the best....
