Are these okay?? :-(

Bought some matched inlets but it looks like they've been used, I've cleaned them up but the face on the lower inlets have some old residue of what looks like the old gaskets it's like a black plasticy stuff, are these okay or do the faces need to be spotless?



If so can anyone recommend how to get the remains of the old gasket off or are these just f**ked and I wasted my money on them?

thats just a bit of gasket residue. will scrape off with a sharp blade

Should I be careful not to scratch the face or will a few small scratches not matter much?

small imperfections are what gaskets are used to take account of.
