Arghhhhh some 1 help me

before i go insane!

fitted a new gear nob had to be quite brutal to remove oe 1

now the i get his quite buzzing noise

if i rest my left leg against the stick it stops or hold it

then i moves about 1mm and makes it again

removed gaitor and cant see any damage

whats wrong its doing my head in

Sounds like its slightly loose and vibrating. The new knob got a screw so u can tighten it?

yeh mate the nob is tight

it has 3 allen bits then screws on its not that

i have just chganged mine over to a new one and i havent had any problems?! after the sawing the other one off lol!!

could only really think that it would be slightly too big so as to make it vibrate inside? it would seem tight on the outside then but it could still be loose inside if you get me?!

im going to clean my car then take the tw*t to bits!

try wrapping a bit insulating tape around the pole then re-attach the gearnob, that should stop metal on metal or metal on wood vibration.

IL TRY THAT then

thing is my gear nob works like this

metal clio stick

plastic cap

3 allen bolts that screw into plastic bit holding a threaded piece in

gearnob screws on to thread

iv now

removed nob and greased

and refitted tight

got under car removed heat shield that i thought it might have been catching

nd its still doing it

i think some thing internaly might be f**ked

so does any 1 know how 2 remove the stick and parts attached to it? eg the bit at the bottom so i can replace this
