arrrgh! need some help guys!

Ok guys, need some help here.
My windscreen got a crack in it on the weekend, and its grown into one huuuuuge biatch! (not literally)
Anyway im gettin it repaired sooner rather than later. Anyway the prob im havin is about the actual windcreen. Autoglass asked whether it has a green tinge and i told em "well it has a tint" he said yeah that fine itll be a green tinge. I was a bit dubious after this cos remembered the cups also have lighter windscreens than norm 172s so rang renault to confirm. The guy had the part numb but wasnt sure about lightness, altho i assured him it was a lighter screen. He said they now come in green AND Blue?!?! he said mine would prob be the green as that is what theyve been replacing em with and the blue is relatively new. But he said if insurance is payin for it i should go for the blue one as it is the new heat reflective one, and he said quite a few cars have this now, green norm windows and a blue windscreen???!?!?!!!?

What do we reckon guys??!!
And should i tell autoglass anything else or should they know?

look for the part number and ACEA std on your windscreen.........it should be printed on it.

I had mine replaced a little while ago and on the phone they asked is it a heat reflective one or does it have a rain sensor. So of course I said no to both so they argued it must be one or the other and that they all come with the heat reflective one as standard, so I said not this one it doesnt. In the end I couldnt be bothered to argue anymore and thought id let them fit what they want and get it changed to the correct one afterwards. When the bloke came round to do it he had the right one, not heat reflective and no rain sensor.

I guess its cos I gave them the reg which they then gave to Renault when they got the windscreen???
