Been looking at a set myself, but I don't really use the fogs tbh lol. Have you got any more pics of them lit up?

Bit of an update today i received the following;

  • 3 x PlastiDip cans (Black)
  • Masking tape
  • New tax disc holders
  • Gloss black paint
  • N2Grafix Stickers for the interior
  • Cigarette lighter (For some reason it was missing when i bought the car)
  • Ford graphite grey spray

Detailing stuff
  • Chemical Guys new car smell spray
  • Chemical Guys quick detailing pro
  • Chemical Guys glassworks
  • Chemical Guys new trim gel
  • Chemical Guys gloss & shine shampoo
  • CYC tyre applicator
  • 2 x micro fibre cloths
Anyway i started off by removing my wheels and giving them a clean before spraying with the plastidip;

Before

During

After :)

Other side

^^^ Ry did a fine job spraying.

Other side finished.

Wheel covers and bullets last coat.

Came out a lovely matte black the same as the wheels.

Didn't get any good photos of after as it was starting to rain!!

Removed the grill

Gave it a clean and a spray with gloss black.

Thought i might as well do the engine cover whilst im there

Job done, will give the car a detail and some decent photos as soon as the weather allows :rasp:

Did you primer the grille? Or just rough it up?
Wheels look great, really fancy having a go at this plasticoat stuff.

Gave the grill a good scrub, dried off, a light coating of primer (just to give the gloss something to stick to). You should definitely try the plasticoat i used two cans for four wheels and still had some left. If it comes out looking gash you can just peel it off. As long as you get the wheels squeaky clean you cant go far wrong.

Liking the progress mate. Trying to get some inspiration for my RB, what difference does removing the acoustic valve have? And is it hard to do?

It must be easy if i managed it :). To be honest i haven't noticed much just an increase of induction noise.

More progress today received my detailing gear and gave the car a good clean and went for a little drive to take some photo's with my mate in his astra;

Looks good !!

cheers mate :)

Plans just before crimbo are to get RS mats and a boot net.

Plans for January now stands for getting a JP exhaust from K-Tec (re-branded yozza).

Also a Nardi steering wheel ;) - http://www.driftworks.com/shop/car-...rforated-leather-with-black-spokes-330mm.html

Yes i know your all thinking its for Jap cars, but i like the JDM look and why not get a Nardi? Something unique on a clio rather then the standard momo, sabelt etc...

Will be buying a momo boss and a PCD adapter to make it fit...

Opinions?
