At last gettin a k-tec Exhaust

At last after much thinking about it, Im getting a K-Tec twin 3" stainless exhaust.

The best thing is its for free, just gota swop it over!happy days

What they like anyway, much difference on the performance?

Very nice indeed. I have got one - bought it from someone on here. Slightly louder than the standard one , but worth it. The said person that I bought it from, his Cup made 182 at the flywheel with the ktec and panel filter. (prob about 8bhp from the exhaust?)

TBH I dont know what make the panel filtter was, but I would hazard a guess and say that most of the power came from the ktec.

Not my Cup, but the Cup that it came off had made 182bhp with the panal filter and k tec exhaust. It is not cat replacement, it is loud, but not big bore nova style!

i think il go for the quiet (probably still nice) KTR exhaust systm, twin exits and KTec sport Cat. then add piper cross induction or if i push the boat out MAxogen ITG induction and maybe powerflow exhaust. either way i expect with induction kit, panel filter, sports cat and twin 3.5" zorst to get 180bhp-182bhp (8-10bhp gain). Then add R-sport chip for a further 8bhp and il have 188bhp - 190bhp. any ideas this seem possible + how do you get 197-200bhp from 172MKII



then TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mk1 172 is Hughs, thats blue. The Mk2 in Red is Tomboys, his better half.

Cant wait to fit it, hey also a viper look nice, where you get them from, got a K&N at the mo but it sucks in warm air...What sort of price are they?
