Taking my Williams tonight to have the gearbox rebuilt. Will be gone about a week. Sooooooooo cant wait to get it back without a whining box. Its been broken since October!

Leigh, think it worked out a bit cheaper than a new one, and Im skint as. I do get a full one years warrenty on this box though.

its costing about £750ish incl a clutch I think inclusive of all labour. Im paying 1/2 straight away, and 1/2 in a month or so.

ok let me know, that price is for exchange on your old one and would mean a drive to suuny romford. i.e bring old box down and collect ya new one !!

Seems Ive heard a £500/exchange price quoted a lot for a Renault rebuilt box.

Mine is whining in 5th and 3rd gear synchro isnt the best...
