authentique vs dynamique

what are the differences in these 2 cars? i know the authentique is only 8v and the other is 16v but anything else?

Authentique is poverty spec. Avoid at all costs.

I'm sure they came with radio/cassettes, steel wheels, cloth seats, manual mirrors

Dynamique has alloys, cd player, electric mirrors, auto lights/wipers, sports seats etc

Early dynamiques had radio cassettes, no auto lights or wipers...

But yeh, a non early dynamiques the one to get

Authentique are 8v and have different size hubs, different engines iirc. If you plan on changing seats and getting new alloys the only difference is fog lights (front) and hard to get coilovers.

Get an 04 plate onwards Dynamique if your budget will stretch, better kit than the Authentique/Expression poverty spec stuff, better engine too if it's a 1.2 16v as they changed it in 2004.

my budget is only low lookin around anything upto 1200 at the mo... but i dont know weather to consider waiting a while longer till ive got more cash... been off the road since nov (my crash) and im just dying to get back on the road...

3 points, 2years driving, no no claims... killing my insuraance so im trying to look for something on the cheap insurance side

I had 3 points at 18 and no NCB and was £700 for a standard 1.2 16v dynamique.

lol well im looking at 1600.00 fully comp and 1200.00 3rd party !!! i wouldnt mind but its not like im a young kid either im 30 next month!!!!

i prefer early dynamiques i prefered the interior, the dials and the brushed aluminium dash strips and im a ph2 *****, the wheels and front bumper look better!

Dynamique is the best spec in 3dr form. Authentique and Expression are pap, poverty spec for sure!
