Finally stopped bloody raining so i could crack on with the sample test.
First up thanks to Auto Finesse for sending me a sample to try and review
Here goes, i'm new to this so go easy on me:rasp: ( Sorry for the amount of pictures)
The clio wasn't in much of a state to start with as i only iron-x and clayed it a couple of weeks ago.
Few pics of how it looked before hand.
So i was sent a sample of iron out and spirit wax
Started off by rinsing of any loose crap
Broke out the iron out sample, stuck it in a little spray bottle and set about doing the wheels. First thing i noticed is it does not smell as rank as the iron-x, Could not believe how quick it went to work!
agitated it and left for 5 mins before rinsing off which came off very easy, then washed them using the only shampoo i have to hand Muc-off ubershine..
Snow foamed the rest of the car with some car pro PH neutral stuff???? ( label has come off)
Shampoo'd , rinsed and dried
Heard good things about Auto Finesse's Tripple so i got me a bottle to try. Wow it goes on so well and comes off very easy leaving a great finish behind and is very glossy and reflective. Best thing i have bought this year. Used it on the door jam/hinge area also along with the bootlid opening.
Spirit wax
The smell is addictive!! I never used a wax applicator sponge thingy as i don't have one.. So i used the old finger method.
Spirit seems alot softer and more oily than the DJ light fantastic i have previously used, once in your fingers it seems to melt like butter and spreads very very well compared to the hardness of the light fantastic, i done one panel at a time and by the time i had finished applying one panel the one beforehand was ready to be buffed off.
The wax buffed off really easy without leaving an oily residue feeling behind. I don't know if its the wax or the Tripple but the flake pop and reflection is the best i have ever seen on my car and imo a winning combo which i shall be using again from now on.
I only have this one cacky picture of the Spirit wax on the rear quarter as daylight was against me.
Here is the finished pictures not the best as i'm useless with the camera lol and pictures don't do it justice i'm over the moon with it, tbh i quite enjoyed this detailing stuff so i have ordered a few more bits from AF. Oh and i put Megs tyre gel on the tyres.
Once again i apologise for the shocking pictures
Shall keep this updated on how Spirit performs..... Thanks
