Aux in, update list unit?

Hi
Is there some secret way to find aux in setting on my update list head unit? Car is a 55 plate 182 and never came with a cd changer from factory!
Ive purchased a lead off ebay to plug into back of unit and other end has a standard 3.5mm headphone plug on it for ipod/mp3 player etc
Scrolling through menus im not seeing Aux option only Cd, Fm, Am, Lw etc
Any advice?

Hold down the 'expert' button, then scroll through the menu and turn on aux input.

Also turned off LW, MW too
Not sure what AF is so left it on also had speed on there set at 5?

The speed increases/decreases the volume dependant on road speed iirc.
