 @ Gaz!

Oh and for those that have mentioned it, I will say it again - the Recaro's are yellow as is the rev counter due to the fact that yellow is RenaultSport's brand colour. Hence the dash and seatbelt yellow option ;)

I agree it looks strange, but hey - ho :)

Good choice Daniel, bet you can't wait! :D
This I know. It still however looks shite.

Sooooo peeps who are clued up abput this.....

I'd want Storm Grey AC and speedlines. Not fussed on the Recaros as i still have them from my 197, so i could use them. Couldi put down a bigger deposit, and still keep the monthly repayments at £199 pm? If so, i'm off to Lookers this weekend ;)

Thats what I did mate. Paid 999 deposit, plus storm grey plus black wheels. Came to £1580 iirc.

My monthly payments then stay at £199. Happy days!

I've spoken to a few people that have driven them, they all reckon the basic 200 is a better car if not tracking it. Need to try both, as I think track days are behind me.

I'm a bit confused, your talking in Hebrew again...

The 200 Cup is the better car if not tracking it? Or the Normal 200 is?? Either way i'm going to do 2 maybe 3 trackdays over the two years in it but thats it. Its a daily driver mainly.

Punjabi h'actually. Cnut.
They were all moaning at the ride in the 200cup, said the 200 was nicer on b-roads, cup would be the better bet on track. But the basic 200 doesn't get the quicker rack.
Must drive both before commiting to spec.

By nicer on B roads i'm assuming you mean less bumpy??

She moans about the Audi A4!! lol! She'll have proper sore tits in a 200 cup then!

Yes fella, basically saying that the cup skips on bumpy roads, the non-cup job doesn't. Not sure I could live with the steering if it's the same as the 197 though, the quicker rack sounds good.

Meh. I drive a 190,000 mile van! I'll use it about 4 times a year I reckon!

She'll have to put up with it.

Did you not consider the 250 for a grand more Daniel?

Quite a downsize from an a4 to a Clio?

hes not a fan of the 250

Correct! I'm not a fan of turbo'd cars full stop really. I did think about it but I love revving the nuts off stuff and I also think that the megane is (just) too ugly. I know the 200 isn't a looker by any stretch of the imagination, but I can live with it for how well they drive.

In an ideal world i'd have had a FRS as they are my dream but i've got too much financial commitment coming to be able to comfortably afford the payments on one. Green, black wheels.... Oh god i'm nursing a semi already.....

Maybe one day! :(

Bar the frs, couldn't agree more. And the 250 cabin, massively behing the class.

You are going to have to explain the ins and outs of the deal you got on Sunday Dan.

Seriously tempted by a 200 and I'm hoping that with me now being a Renault employee I can sort out something half decent.

I'm going to see them tomorrow if i get time. Bigger deposit, then keep the repayments at £200. Dont really want to be paying more than that a month for something that only gets used mainly at weekends

AG .
Speedlines.
Recaros.
Aircon.
Black roof (mebbe)

Sell my car to pay for the options! LOL!

Exactly. My Cup will virtually pay the repayments over the two years, where's if i keep the Cup it will be worthless by then. Toss up between SG or GW for me!

i'm trying not to bite but thats b****cks, cabin is excellent now, much better than the focus! not as boring as a BM, audi or VW, but supposedly built just as well (i'm yet to experience it first hand but will soon!)

bargain price for a car, amazing you can get a £23k megane for the same [rice a month really.

i couldn't downsize to a clio now though.

It's an awesome car, wasn't having a dig at yours (or anyone elses) choice. But, with 1st hand experience it's behind vw and audi on feel/quality, and massively uninspiring (all imo).
I actually prefer the layout and design of the R26, the 250 feels massively derivative (similar idea to the BMW architecture, but more buttons).
It's a subjective thing, but I think it's a backwards step.

I don't have air con now so I wouldn't miss it + standard seats look nice to me

Would def choose recaros + air con if I wasn't handing car back after 2 years though.

Just drop Richard1 a PM with your number and ask him to give you a call.

Im in Derby and ive still ordered with him due to convienence (that and not having a Lookers only a Co-op Renault in Derby). You only have to make the trip once during the 2 years and thats to pickup the car when it arrives at the dealer.
