Back on the road folks!!

Well after 3 1/2 weeks in the body shop, Ive just taken delivery of my newly repaired 172, and boy is she lookin fine. As good as new. Looks like theyve gone the whole hog, and replaced everything that was damaged with new. New bonnet - which surprised me - thought theyd straighten out the old one considering it was a minor bend; new front drivers side alloy - thought theyd get the old one refurbed. New front bumper + grills, drivers side wing, light, fog light and door repaired. They even took out a couple of scratches of the passenger wing that were there before the incident.

Well thats one way of getting those stone chips repaired!!!

Anyways Im so happy to get her back, I think Im gonna treat her to a full tank of optimax and get out for a blast.... :devilish:

Cheers

Rich

Cheers guys + gals. Its like having a new car all over again. Ive been driving a 1.2 punto the last few days so getting back into the clio Im all at home again - Im sure it never felt this fast before! - it feels worlds apart. All the controls are way too light in the fiat and that (sh)city button stinks!

My finances have taken a big hit though, £250 excess and the £1200 bill from Germany, plus the £100 towage fee I paid on the day, although the AA is refunding my £35 that I paid for European cover as a token gesture, because the toll road in question is specifically mentioned as an exclusion in their T&Cs. I was never sent these before the trip so I didnt know to check. Its a something I suppose. Oh and my mobile bills came to £55 - not bad considering the amount of time I spent on the phone to the UK that day!

Right - whens that trip to the NS??? ;)
