Back to ph1?

Im am seriously considering getting a ph1 bumper back on my clio.

Going from this

To this (sorry for nicking pic)

Never noticed lights when I posted, but yeah change them as well. Be proud of your phase 1, not try and be a phase 2...

PH1 bumper is better. PH2 parts soften the aggressive look of the car. The only PH2 parts on my car is rear lights. Which is one thing I think really does stop the car looknig dated without softening it.

If simon cowell looked at your motor with the old bumper back on he would say something like!!

"Looking at your car is an experience i will forget"
"it was like looking at a toilet roll sprayed silver and stick on with blu-tac on the back of you vehicle"

I'm about to go the other way.... Cup spoiler and ph2 side strips and it looks great IMO.

Although I think the ph2 bumper works better on cars that are very low.

To my mind, Ph1's look more purposeful with Ph2 detailing (Side strips/ r. bumper/ r. lights).

It's all subjective though.

Its meant to look like a ph1 because thats what it is

Its hard to tell a Sport ph2 from a 1.2 Dynamic.

At least with a ph1 love it or hate it its easy recognisable as a Sport Clio especially at the front end

I think i'm going to change mine to a Ph2 bum. It's your choice though mate, if you're not keen it doesn't take long to swap the lights and bumper. Well that's if you still have the original parts.

Ph2 bumper on a ph1 looks stupid. Looks like two cars welded together. You've got the rounded front end of a ph1 and the square angular arse end of a ph2.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to deface your car.... lol! :rasp:

It'll look good with a cup spoiler with the ph2 side strips etc and you know it!

P.s, how often do you look at the back and the front of a car at the same time?

put the pahse 1 bumber back on. the only ph2 parts i would put on would be the side strips.

I think the ph1 looks better with the ph 2 bits on the back personally but wouldn't go to the hassle of changing them if they didn't already have it on.
