2bf, if you breath on those handles with anything even the slightest bit abrasive they will end up bare plastic, its poor renault build quality, they arent even primed and its a single stage paint, which is absolutely micro thin........i dont really blame the car wash, id be over the moon it was only my handle.

But TFR used in high volume even straight can cause damage to paint work especially if it hasn't been primed, I worked in a body shop and if it got left on could damage even the best painted motors

I reckon that place must use brick cleaner to "wash" the wheels. I reckon they sprayed it on the handles then.

Looks lovely, lesson learned.
