Bargain ph1 172

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/324275.htm

Very possibly a repost, but I couldn't find anything. I think its a Joshydee special and its obviously catergorised (flood damage) but for that money and mileage you can't go wrong.
Im quite tempted could free up some serious cash out of the Lupo and that ph1 is so cheap I could insure in TPFT.

Low level flooding?

Enough to spoil the handbook which obviously was kept under the seat!

Thats what the advert said, be interesting to know if it was fresh or saltwater, im surprised the cd changer isn't fubar'd.

yes the document wallet was on the floor, as the car was actually at a car auction at the time of the flood. If you have been to a car auction you might know the service history book is kept on the rostrum for the auctioneer to read out when the car is going through and the rest of the documentation usually on the floor in the car. High level in the salvage repair industry is considered dashboard level. Just soaked the carpets etc basically.

ill let you know alex if it falls through. :)

its not got one fitted. Possibly removed before the auction, you know what dealers/people are like. Freshwater flood. Saltwater/Foul water flood automatically becomes Cat A (crushed without removing any parts) as its considered a biological hazard/parts contaminated with salt water not suitable for use.

Had a lot of interest tbh. drove the car for its VIC check the other day and drives beautifully. Chap is bringing a 106 Rallye in PX. Gutted all the flooring but still holds a little dampness, cured it with 2kg of silica gel off ebay
