BARGAIN - Sony Bravia 40" - £499

Guessing it's a misprice, just seen it advertised on MSE.

I've ordered one in hope that they don't notice their error, I believe they've priced it as the 32" model, but adveertised it as 40" model.

Gotta be in it to win it!!

might is a risk worth taking imo.

Worst that will happen is they notice and refund the cash, best case scenario is 40" pornography.

Until you read the reams of T&C then yeh lol.

Basically they sent out 3 emails, whn you've got the third email, you've got your product. Before then and according to their T&C they can cancel and refund.

No mate, if they notice it's a balls up as per their T&C they will contact you and ask if you wish to proceed at the corrected price.

Failing that they'll refund your cash (although it's not clear if they take it now, or when the order is dispatched).

Guys it's still a great price even if it turns out to be the 32" model, they go for an average price of like £800, interesting to see what happens today.

Could do with one aswell as my 28" crt has given up the ghost... got a lovely high pitch squeaking noise as soon as you turn it on, and some white smoke after about 10 minutes.

Ok,now i know if they are wrongly priced they can get away with not having to sell ,however isn't there something that they can't display an item if there are none in stock ? & it's not marked that way (which that wasn't) .

I would still phone them & say you want an alternative 40" LCD for that price ,they can't offer you a 40" for £1300 ,it's hardly an alternative .
