Basically a new 182!

I bought my 04 182 FF for 6 grand in march, things went wrong str8 away and it was bad so......i spent 3000k including labour on a refurb brand new engine which is wicked and amazing with no regrets....so next thing is gearbox, that has just gone so now i have a new refurb gearbox another 800. Basically I now have a new engine and new gearbox, new tyres all round!

So i reckon iv put about 10 grand in it now, engine before or car has done 48k on clock so Im thinking I will never have any reason to sell it! I love the ar, if its in good condition then there great fun! I know you always lose money when you put money in but still frustrating but at same time, feels good to run!

But reason im dissapointed, i wish id just got an R27!!

If this was your situation what would you do? how long would you keep car etc?

f**k paying that on a 182 engine, would have bought a 197 instead.

My old 172 was like that. Reckon i spend over £5k repairing it lol

It had 4 gearbox's and 2 cambelts, and new valves etc within a year.

Basically I got everything brand new, the original engine was fooked! I got done over when i bought it, wasnt original engine, broker yard etc! So decided to get everything new! i mean what could i have done? sold it again for nothing? and had to fork out even more on a different car? As i said its all brand new now isnt it! But just wish id known! so i coulda got the 197!
