Battery goes flat after Installing ICE! Help!!!

I only had my car a week before i installed my sub,amp and dvd headunit so im not 100% sure it started after i installed the ICE. But say it did..


What could have gone wrong to make it drain my battery? I jumped my car and left it to idle for an hour to charge the battery. I then left it overnight and my stepdad tested the headunit and listened to a couple of songs (engine off) and it was completely dead.


Someone help and tell me an order of what to check please

audio takes a lot of battery, if ur runnign it with car off it will drain as nothign recharging battery, also idleing a car wont charge the battery enough over an hour, u need to drive the car so the alternator is working more.

u may also have a permanent live so checjk eveeyhtign turns off when the car does!

make sure all the HU and sub are off and test the alternator is charging the battery. start the car and disconnect the battery leads (- first) and the car should still run.
