battery issues!!!

ive been having issues with the starting of my car :S, recently when i start the car instead of it just starting up and firing straight away it seems abit sluggish on the start up like the batts low or something then sometimes its ok, its not a firing issue its the start up :S and also when i put the lights on the clock and radio lights go really dim where i can hardly see them, just wonderd if anyones had this or what it could be?? thanks
