Battery light flickering

Have a stripped out track 172, when reved hard or driven hard the battery light flickers.

dont think there is an alternator fault as have no charging problems

any ideas?

loose/bad earth on the battery?

^This. Check the terminals on the battery, mine flickered when the earth wasn't properly secured on the negative battery terminal.
