Battery randomly gone flat, twice in 1 day :(

Hey guys, drove about 15miles yesterday and left the clio for about 1.5 hours, got back to it and it wouldn't start, infact it wouldn't even turn over, there was just nothing there. So we got some bloke to jump us off, then drove home, kept it running for an hour, then drove about 5miles before turning it off (this was at about 7pm).

Got back to it at about 1am and again completely dead. What could be causing this? I have a voltmeter, what's the best way to test the battery?

The thing is, the battery has never had problems before, always startes first time and usually seems full of life.

goto an autoelec and check for a drain on the battery., more then likely you need to replace the battery..

have you got a sub and amp? the remote wire come loose?

my battery drains over ngiht so iv got to unplugg the c**t everywhere i leave my car not good.
i cant find out what it is neither can to garages need to save for a pro to look at it

got it tested and everything is fine, just the battery was fucked. It was the original and its an 02 reg so not too bad i guess! It was just wierd how it seemed to deteriorate so quickly!
